CWAG Response - 'Council Housing: a real future' Prospectus

CWAG broadly welcomes the proposals to replace the current HRA subsidy system with more sustainable self-financing arrangements. However, as the proposed settlement assumes that the housing stock has achieved a reasonable level of decency, we remain concerned about funding to cover outstanding Decent Homes programmes and repairs backlogs.
